When Caught Cheating, 27% of Unfaithful Men Continued to Lie About It
Hoboken, NJ (PRWEB) October 7, 2008 -- In THE TRUTH ABOUT CHEATING, experienced family counselor and author M. Gary Neuman reveals the results of a study in which he interviewed and studied 200 men - one hundred cheaters and one hundred non-cheaters. According to THE TRUTH ABOUT CHEATING, more than half of the cheating husbands surveyed admitted they still have not told their wives about their affair. Not surprisingly, only 7% of cheating husbands admitted to an affair without being questioned about it by their wife.
In his study of why men cheat, Neuman found:
? 55% of cheating men never told their wives about their affair, either because they were not asked about it or because they continued to lie after confronted with evidence of the affair
? 14% of cheating men lied about their affair until their wife had evidence
? 12% of cheating men admitted to cheating only after being questioned repeatedly about it
? Only 7% of cheating husbands admitted to cheating without being questioned
